A Day of Firsts! On Tuesday, 29 Aug 06, Lainey learned to ride her tricicle!!!! It was a great accomplishment after many attempts over a span of almost 6 months. She is still a little shaky but has the basics down. She learned to ride right on our front porch. After Lainey had the basics down, she and Sierra created a traffic jam on the porch. : ) Lainey and Mom also went to see Disney's Beauty and the Beast at a nearby outdoor theater, Wolf Trap. It was a great time and Lainey stayed awake for the entire performance. It helped that the musical mirrored the movie for 95% or the performance. It was a great night and we hope to do another play/musical in the future. What a grand day!
