The Castle!!! It was a hit at the party and continues to be a source of fun and enjoyment for the girls. Obviously, we will keep it up for a good amount of time. This creation used 3 refrigerator boxes, one couch box, 2 oven boxes, another big box of some sort, 1 1/2 gallons of pink paint, 2 LARGE sharpie markers, a wonderful creation called rivets to get the thing to fit together, a little bit of duct tape, trimming, 4 adults and a LOT of LOVE! The throne was also a big hit.

The castle turned out great! Wow! Hey, ever thought of doing that as part of your cake business? I hear there in high demand in certain parts of the US. Maken' cakes (and castles too!). It looks awesome. You sure do have nice friends to help you do that. Lainey looks right at home in that castle, and I love the carpet! :) Miss you friends!

Libby says she would recognize that castle anywhere--it reminds her of the great castle of Hoheknecken and how Princess Lainey would sip garlic soup and gaze out the window over her fair kingdom and all her royal subjects who continue to adore her. We miss you Princess Lainey!

P.S. Please excuse mom's bad spelling/wrong word usage in her comment above, and please don't tell that college that is about to give her an ENGLISH degree either! What she meant to say was that they're (castles and cakes are, of course) in high demand in certain parts of the United States, specifically OCONUS regions if you want to be technical about it.
